
I am a PhD Student at the Department of Government at Harvard University. My research interests are in race and ethnic politics, immigration, and diaspora communities. I am affiliated with the Center for American Politics.
I am the recipient of the Harvard Presidential Scholar Award, the Harvard Amartya Sen Fellowship for Students from India, and the Harvard Douglas Dillon Fellowship Fund.
Prior to starting my PhD, I took an MPA from Columbia University and a Bachelors’ in Political Science from the University of Chicago. My professional research experience includes working for the Council on Foreign Relations and the Saltzman Center for War and Peace Studies
I am passionate about creating impact in the public sector and have worked with various US state governments and public health entities as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. I have also consulted for the Government of Delhi and the Government of Tunisia on outcome budget reporting and employment policy respectively.
I grew up in Dehra Dun, India. In my free time, I make art, and construct crosswords.
